Chris paul and his grandfather were really closes they were mostly always together. His grandfather would always close up the shop early just so he could see his games. He was there when chris sighed the papers for his college scholarship and he ways always at this games. When he was killed chris shot 61 points for hi, and he was one shot away for breaking the stare recorded but it didn't matter to him all that mattered was those 61 one shots and he missed the shot and ran to his father to hug him. This story shows how loyal Chris was to his grandfather and how much they loved each other.

Pyramid of Success 









Block 1: Industriousness
"In plain and simple English this means hard work. Very hard work. There is no substitute for very hard work when it comes to success." 
Working hard for one's goal is the only way to get to it. Without hard work you can not get closer to one's goal and so to succeed you have to give it your all. Yes it's hard but in the end once you get to your goal it will all be for the better but hard work sometimes doesn't  always get you to your goal there will be failing along the way but never give up just keep working hard to get to the goal you have in mine.

Block 2: Enthusiasm
"It is the engine that powers all blocks of the Pyramid. It is why I chose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of Success. It is where everything begins."
In everything we do there is always a starting point and in the Pyramid of Success we start with this enthusiasm. To get to a goal we have to start somewhere either it being just out of random or planning it rondom a long time we always begin somewhere. If you have the passion to do something then trust me you will be able to work at it till you get there. I myself have this and if you think about your goal almost everyday you will remember why you are doing what you're doing and that will fill you with the passion do keep going

Block 3: Friendship
"Comes from mutual, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort."
 Friendships are something I always had a problem with I had problems with keeping the friendship happy. It's true when they say that friendship is hard work you both have to keep it strong and not loss each other it's a joint effort. Sadly I took my best friend for granted and I still hate myself for what I did so dont be like me who took their friendship for granted love your friendships for you might miss them when they're gone.


Block 4: Loyalty
"To yourself and to all those depending upon you. Keep your self-respect."
Loyalty something any good person needs weather it being for friendship or a relationship loyalty is always needed. Knowing that someone has loyalty to you is something great but one little mess up and you could lose it and once you loss someone's loyalty you can pretty much never get it back fully. So if someone had given their loyalty to you dont over do it because it's a great thing to have. Loyalty is a gift so injoy it and dont overuse it because soon you won't be able to have it and people will have less self-respect for you.  
 



Block 5: Cooperation
"With all levels of your co-worker. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way." 
When it comes down to teamwork you have to hear other peoples out see what they have to say so you can work together. You can't just say your way and do it that way teamwork is about working together so the group has to hear each other out. Problem solving is better and easier when you work together. So don't just go by your way hear everyone out and help each other out.





Block 6: Ambition
For noble goals
Getting to a goal will take lots of ambition for it. Goals are something we all have little or small we all have one but make those goals become real will take lots of work. I myself have a goal and to get to that goal i'll have to give it my all. I'll have to push myself while I keep my goal in mind. Ambitions can get you a long way in to your goal all that drive of determination helps you get closer to whatever goal you have in mine. I have ambition for my goal that I had in mind and i'll keep working to that goal for ambition drives me to keep going and i'll try my best to make that goal come true.

Block 7: Self-Control
"Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential."
When trying to get to a goal there will always be something or someone that will make you want to do something that will set you off to not getting to your goal. There will always be that one little thing that will want to make you do something else rather then doing something to help your goal. An example would be let's say that one day your friend tells you to just go over to there house and relax one day but you need to finish something before going but they really want you to just drop it these are things that will stop you from getting to your goal you need to know when to have self-control.


Block 8: Alertness
"Be observing constantly. Stay open-minded. Be eager to learn and improve."
Alertness it's something that helps us know about new things. It helps us know things around us and want to learn and improve on other skills. Being observed about many things constantly helps you know what's going on around you keeps you opened minded on may things that will come your way. Alertness can keep on your way to get to your goal.








Block 9: Initiative 
"Cultivate the ability to make decisions and think alone. Don't be afraid of failure, but learn from it." 
Failure it's all something we fear. It's something all of  us never what to happen but even if we try our best we will always fail on something and failing even if it doesn't seem like it can be a good thing. Failing helps us grow it helps us see are mistakes and learn from them if we never fail we can never learn from our past mistakes. So when a chance comes up and failure is what scares you from doing it don't be scared because even if you fail learning from it can help you in the far future.


Block 10: Intentness 
"Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievement by resisting all temptations. Be determined and persistent." 
 Having a goal is one thing but setting your mind to it and always keeping at it in mind is another. Setting your mind to it is always a good help when heading to your goal. When a temptation heads your way and you know it will affect the goal you have in mind then resisting it while keeping the end goal in mind always helps I for one do this and it helps me everyday get closer to my main goal. Temptations will always be something that will get in the way of a goal and sometimes it will be pretty hard to resist them sometimes we may even fall for them but having the goal you really want to come true will help keep resisting.




Block 11: Sincerity 
Keep friends 


Having friends that are honest and truthful to you is something very important because sometimes we need to hear the truth we cant always think we can do something had have friends say "yes you can do it" we need those friends to tell us the truth and tell us the truth keep us down on earth and tell us what we need to hear not what we want to hear. Friends like those are hard to find but when we have them you will be thankful on having them I myself have one friend like that and am thankful on having them yes we might fight sometimes but in the end we are both thankful on having each other and keeping each other down on earth.



Block 12: Adaptability 
To any situation 
Adaptability is something important and something not many people have. This skill is highly important for when you have something that has to be done but it must be moved around for another day and you week is full being adaptability makes you ok with this and you find a way to make this happen. Another example is when a plan is changed and you couldn't do anything this skill is really usefull. When it comes to a goal let's say a meeting has to take place and this will help you get closer to your goal but something happened that had to change to meeting time and it's out of your hands being adaptability to this will help out.



Block 13: Condition

"Mental-Moral-Physical. Rest, exercise and diet must be consider. Moderation must be practiced. Moderation must be practiced. Dissipation must be eliminated" 
  Condition something we all need to learn. When it comes down to a goal we always have to be in good condition so we can get it. If we were in bad condition we wouldn't be able to work to are goal we won't be able to get anything done to get us closer to are goal. Its very important to have our bodies be healthy not only for our goals but also for are well being we can't just be sick and work ourselves to the bone we won't be able to stand that am pretty sure we would pass out or something else.


Block 14: Skill
"A knowledge of the ability to properly and quickly execute the fundamentals. Be prepared and cover every little detail"

 We all have a skill and we all need some skills get us through a problem. Some of us have skill that help us better than other people's skills. When it comes to group work those people each have a skill and they can either help the the team or not help the team with the skills they have. Some are helpful while other are not but one way or another skills are what we all need to get to a goal or to just finish off something we work on is skill and not give up on anything which is a skill.

Block 15: Team Spirit 
"A genuine consideration for others. An eagerness to sacrifice personal interests of glory for the welfare of all"

Team spirit something not everyone has but can do good if you do have it. It's better to get along with your teammates then fighting you will get things faster other than just yelling each other to get stuff done. If we try to outshine each other fighting will happen and one person could be working on everything or nothing at all. So when you have team spirit try to have other show theirs as well so together you can work on whatever you can and get it done together. 



 

Block 16: Honesty 
In thought and action

Being honest is very important not only to other but to yourself has well. Honesty will help you in a goal either it being on a question someone asks you or planning out a day and being honest and going it's important. Lying is one of the things many people do and if you say you dont lie well am pretty sure you justed lied to me because everybody lies. Learning to be honest is something that takes time because it's so easy to slip up and just flat out lie to someone and once you lie to someone and they find out you will never get the same trust like you had before even if you never lie to them again it will never be the same.


Block 17: Resourcefulness
proper judgement  
When it comes down to unexpected problems having resourcefulness is a big help. For example you planned to meet up and finish a project with a group but someone gets stuck in traffic having resourcefulness would be a good help here thinking up a plan so you can wait for the person to get there. This skill can help in many different ways that listing them all would take forever so it's better to just show some examples of this skill in work. When getting to a goal many unexpected things can happen and at this time using this skill can help things go better in the meantime.


Block 18: Poise 
"Just being yourself. Being at ease in any situation." Graceful and elegant bearing in person. 
When you're in a situation just be yourself you'll be calmer that way. Sure sometimes depending on the situation you can't always being fully yourself but sometimes just being yourself can calm you down then other things trust me i've done it and I feel better after words. Poise is a great way to destress because when fully yourself it helps you calm down it helps you feel better take it from a person who has done it before and still does it to this day.



Block 19: Confidence 
"Respect without fear. May come from being prepared and keeping all things in proper perspective" 
 Confidence a very powerful tool one that not many people have one that many people wish they had and those who do have this skill have good things looking their way. Some people have more confidence than others do heck I have confidence to do somethings but not all the things that would make people want to go home and hide under their bed. A skill like this will always need to work on just because you have it doesn't mean that you have it forever sometimes people lose this skill or they never work on it but this skill should always be worked on and will always have room to grow so dont just stop things that help grow your confidence because there is always room to grow your confidence.


Block 20:
Creates respect 
Giving reliability to other people in yourself can make respect on you. Being reliable is a good skill to have when others need you then it won"t be a problem because you have their back on whatever they need. This skill can help you in many ways for example gaining trust, building bonds and many other things. Not only will this skill help with getting people to trust you but it can also help you to get to a goal. Now I know being reliable is hard sometimes you want to go off and do something else or you forget about whatever you promise well it takes time to build it up and it also takes time for someone to trust you and once someone trust you never never destroy that trust because once broken it will never be the same even if you do get their trust back but it will never be the same again    


Block 21:Fight
Determined effort
Fighting for something you know has to be done is not always easy sometimes you fail sometimes bad things can come to be but in hard times there will always be some light work hard for the thing you want stay determined and whatever comes your way fight for the goal. I have a goal I fight fir everyday and what keeps me going is knowing that once that goal comes true I will be able to prove the those who did not believe in me wrong and show them in their face that I could do anything when I set my mind to it. So I would say find that thing that determines you so when you feel like their quitting you just think back on why you are really doing this and get back into fight for it.



Block 22: Competitive Greatness
"Be at your best when you best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge." 
When going out on an important date you have to make sure that you are your best. You can't go out and act like you're out with your friends when you are talking about important things. Being at your best when it's needed is important people will needed you and if you're off and about being a fool then no one will be happy the work they need you for will never get done and everyone will be mad at each other and maybe people will lose respect in you so when being at your best is needed do it because no one likes when one person slacks off.


Block 23: Integrity 
"Purity of intention" 
Having integrity and sticking to it no matter what is something lots of peoples these days don't have. Either they change their integrity because of what people think or they give up on it. Many people these days change their thinking because of what others might think. To those people who have the guts to stay on their path and not change their mind on things just because others think differently about it I clap to you because more people should be like you.





Block 24: Faith 
"Believe and Achieve" 
Giving faith in someone and trusting that they will do what they need to do is a big chance because that person may not do it or do it wrong but yet we still need to try and give people faith. It very easy to lose faith in people and it really hard to trust people with that faith because you don't want the same outcome as before but that's something you have to do if you ever want to give in faith to someone every again. To the people who are given faith don't take it lightly because when you ever need help or something like that if you lost that faith then it will take forever to get that faith back.


Block 25: Patience 
Good things take time 
 Many people these days have little to no patience I myself sometimes don't have patience which I find sad because when we stop and wait for things we can see things other don't see from all the rush they are in. People these days are in such a rush to get there things done that they don't take time to stop and look at the world. Patience is a very big stress reliever because when you stop and wait you can take that time and think about yourself or other things that could help you relax. When I have remember to stop and have patience I reflect on things and try to think out some problems I've been having or plan out how im going to finish work that is due soon.



Final Reflection 
  1. The building block can benefit me by helping me in life chooses when I need help in something example faith I could look back on what I said or what the building block said and try to put that into work in my life
  2.  I'm applying lots of blocks in my life right now but the one I think im applying the most right now is "Friendship"
  3. This block helps me remember how important my friendships are and that I also have to put in the effort to keep it together 
  4. I will try to put as many blocks in my daily life when I need them
  5. If people ever need help on something that the blocks have showed me I will just tell them the same thing the blocks told me and hope it helps
